With engaging and rigorous curricular offerings, VES provides academic opportunities that will prepare you for success in college and beyond. Programming
VES offers many programs for students such as performing arts, music, athletics, theater, film production, community service, etc.
Activity/Sports Requirements
VES athletic programs guide students to learn the value of commitment to a team and teamwork; build leadership skills and work toward a mastery of skills; develop lifelong appreciation of physical fitness; nurture a competitive spirit; and foster good sportsmanship. Our programs are designed to encourage students to push themselves to try new activities, master and develop talents in new or existing fields, and foster their passions for areas outside of academics. At the same time, our programs encourage a healthy lifestyle and help students develop an adventurous spirit and appreciate differences in abilities and backgrounds.

Tuesday and Thursday are seated lunch. Monday Wednesday Friday are buffet style.
Study Hall
8:00pm Study Hall. Underclassmen participate in a more structured study hall with phones collected and there are teachers supervising. Upperclassmen manage study hall for themselves to prepare themselves for college by being independent.
Saturday Programming
VES offers a wide variety of events both on campus and off campus. Some of these weekend programs include casino night, winter carnival, dorm olympics, fall family fun weekend, etc. There are so many activities for students to participate in on the weekends.
Residential Life
Students experience a home-like atmosphere and build strong, lasting friendships while developing independence and essential life skills. Students live in dormitories with roommates and faculty members, sharing common spaces and meals, and participating in a variety of community activities both on and off campus. The residential experience is designed to be a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to grow and succeed, guided by dedicated faculty who act as mentors.
